I was wondering if I need to give Blue a flea preventative in the winter months?
It gets pretty cold up here in NY, and considering how my little guy has a reaction to almost everything, I'd rather not use it if it's not necessary.

I do not give it once first freeze hits.... Not sure if fleas live in cold weather, but never had an issue with them

As long as you don't have fleas inside your home it should be fine to skip treatments once you hit a freezing point.

Thanks ladies.
Glad to hear I can skip the colder months.

That's good to know..I always wondered the same thing but kept treating him!

We don't use flea stuff on our babies. We give them Sentinel for Heart Worm and it works for fleas too.
