Discovered this suspicious bump on Porkchop

I discovered this morning, hoping it's not a serious tumor or anything. I will take her to the vet and find out after the new year . This photo might be hard to see what exactly it is.

might be something as simple and harmless as a sebacious cyst. i had one removed from my scalp only because it was weird when i got my hair cut. wholly contained, easily removed but not necessary. doctors can almost tell right away, but certainly an ultrasound can help diagnose. i hope it ends up as simple as possible *hug*

Thank you aprilemari I sure hope so a simple cyst . My mom said the same thing maybe a cyst. We need to wait til Monday , I called the vet and no answer .

Update:

I goofed and post in the wrong thread my first time writing the update.

Doctor confirmed the bump is a tumor. I need to keep an eye on it if it gets bigger . He wants me to bring Porkchop back in three weeks to have it removed . I believe , she's going to be ok

Oh dear, fingers crossed it is a benign tumor. What a worry. Did he do a biopsy?

I am sending positive thoughts to you and Porkchop that it is benign and that it will be easy to remove. Porkchop - hoping she will be just fine!
