Nope. Too many home broken in to in my area from doggie doors. Plus Harlea like to eat all the twigs and stick that fall from the tree so we don't let he go out by herself anyhow.

My girls are locked in tight without us being at our house; don't want to take a chance of anyone taking them or someone getting into my house. At the gates are locked but a doggie door would have to be rather large for my girls and if Amber could fit through it so could another human so I don't chance it.

I agree with above comments. I have had a large doggie door for years-but never installed it! I always worried about the dogs being outside alone-and the bullies would eat too much junk!! I am always taking something out of the mouth, and would never know what they ate-if they had so much freedom- and possums and raccoons would be coming IN!! (possibly burglars-human type) No room at the INN!

No, but I desperately want one!! I need to have my DH look into one as soon as he get back home, that would be so much easier on the dogs and the family..... Thats if they decide to actual use it lol the dogs that is...

I've never had one because I'd worry about them being taken from the yard, or going out and being exposed to too much heat. Mine have just always been perfectly content laying on the nice comfortable couch until I'm ready to take them out.

was not aware they made a door wide enough for a bulldog to fit thru

No way would we ever have a doggie door here. It gets too hot outside and they would go out and sun, then get too hot and would just lay there and die. People think they will come in when they are too hot, but no, they will not. I have several friends that have lost their bullies because of this.

No, but we live in an apartment. Think my neighbors would have a nervous breakdown if a bullie roamed the hallway..lol..

Oh gosh NO. I'm paranoid enough about someone stealing her let alone her having free roam in and out of the house. NO WAY. I agree with Davidh also. Ruthie has NO clue about getting out of the heat herself. She would lay out in the sun all day and bake if she could.

Oh yes, I totally forgot to mention that! My dogs love to sit in the sun! I have to make them come in, when it's too warm out because they WOULD stay in the sun until they baked-and killed themselves. Another reason for no doggie door.

No because I don't want Ftse being able to just walk outside when I cant be there
