Can you tell if your bulldog is mad at you? How can you tell?

Initially, Jewel will give me a look like what the heck and then avoid me, not make eye contact, and not come when she is called. We love her though. She is really peturbed now that we are in "rest" mode due to her limping. She loves to run and is extremely active; however, that is on hold now due to her condition.

Well yes because Frankie's initial reaction is to nip at you, he was not trained any other way. We are making great strides with this. Now Brutus on the other hand, will practically wrench his little neck trying to turn his head away when he is mad at us. He is very good at giving stink eye and the ultimate cold shoulder. I'm sure Frankie will soon follow suit.

Oh yes! She'll give us the stink eye and then refuses to listen and won't give any kisses. She got mad at me right before I put her to bed. We came inside from her last nightly potty and I took away her new prized stick that she had just found. Otherwise she'll chew it to a million small pieces that cover the carpet or swallow them and cough them out on the floor. I'll let her bring them to the porch because she likes to carry them around, but won't let her bring them inside.
