We attended the D Day reenactment at Conneaut Lake in 2014, it was AMAZING!! If you ever have the opportunity to go please do!!!

Uncles served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam, Father-in-law and his brother served in Korea and Vietnam, Hubby served 22 years (retired now) in Iraq & Afghanistan… I come from a HUGE military family :usa:

SAME here......HUGE military family (including me USAF) It so wonderful to meet and visit with other military folks, it was our normal way of life, my siblings and I cover birth places from New Jersey to Mississippi....and Spain. I PRAY that all of your family members came home UNHARMED !!!!!!

I thank them ALL for there wonderful service!!!

Same to you and your family!!! :drawheart: Luckily my family members made it home safely, but sadly we have many friends that did not. My hubby is retired Special Forces so he was gone for months at a time WAY before 9/11, that is the only life that we know.

Glad to hear of all of their safe returns but saddened to hear of so many losses.....ANY LOSS is too much. The "life" brings with it so many joys and so much heartache. God Bless you and your family and my best to your husband, I'm truly honored, even if its only through our little forum........PEACE!!!
