I have made the mistake of letting Luna sleep with me and she wonāt sleep anywhere else. Of course every time I need to move she wakes up and as a result is overtired and bloody hard work to be honest
I bought her a large pen both to play and sleep in. But itās pretty crap and she constantly escapes!
Iāve ordered a hopefully good quality Luna Houdini escape proof crate. , Iāve adopted a couple of dogs who were crate trained but when with me they werenāt interested and after a few months the crates went.
But Lunas a puppy and Iāve never crate trained before.
I know sheās going to cry as soon as she goes in, I think advice is put her food, some toys and her bed in there so she associates it with nice things.
What I donāt want is for her to go in cry I go straight to her and let her out for obvious reasons, at the same time I donāt want to leave her too long and her associate it as a bad place.
How do I get that balance right and whatās the best way to go about it?
