Hoping she gets some relief with this stuff. I’m really apprehensive to having to give her a round of antibiotics again. If not I’ll make her an appointment with the dermatologist we were referred to.

typical.... keep it ry as you can

megskee That is exactly how my two(not MY two )my 2 dog's chins looked. I think many Bully pups get that. They sort of have to "grow" out of it. The NS will help protect it, too. Pat her chin dry after she drinks, too. Don't stress out.:)

Yes-the tube I have always had! Not being picky-just thought something had changed!! @megskee That tube will last forever!!! Well, the tube may not, but the meds will. Squeeze it around real well.

Ouch! Not to contradict what anyone else has said, but our boy's chin acne ended once we started using ceramic bowls and ditched his metal ones. Our vet was convinced they contribute to the chin acne. Also always wash food bowls in hot soap and water after every use and water dish was cleaned in hot soapy water in AM and PM. Also, what really helped, was an ointment the vet prescribed that we rubbed on the chin sores. He rarely got them after we changed bowls and if once started, we'd apply the ointment and it'd go away quickly. I wish I could remember the name if it now, the tube was yellow and white I believe and lasted quite a bit - I am thinking Muricin.....

Charley had this and it had gone into a serious staph infection. Took multiple rounds of antibiotics! Topical remedies were not sufficient. Best wishes!
