Well, we knew it was coming.... Cheli will be going in on Tuesday morning for evaluation on his palate and nares. Little guy has lots of apnea issues which cause him and me to not sleep well at all.

He will get a small dose of anesthesia for the initial eval to determine what needs to actually be done, then our vet will call us to discuss before doing any procedure.

Oh, Chelios is such a cutie. That's good that he'll be getting this issue taken care of...poor thing needs his sleep! I will be keeping him in my prayers and thoughts for a successful vet appt. and procedure.

Me too, praying for a safe & successful surgery for Chelios and for peace,
comfort & strength...Much love! Carol & Cami

Awww, poor little guy... we will keep him in our thoughts :luv:

aw christine will be keeping him and you in my thoughts and prayers and sarah has her paws crossed to :)

I hope all goes well. Is this the same vet that you got him from that will be operating?

I've often wondered (lately) if Bea needs to have hers trimmed up. She seems easily winded...and she most always snores. How did you know that it was apnea as opposed to just a snorey dog?

Hoping for an easy surgery and quick recovery for sweet Chelios - if it's even needed at all.
