I am so ready for this to be over but sadly they are saying it is going to be Wednesday at the earliest for things to start letting up. What really sucks is Harlea is supposed to have her yearly checkup on Monday but I don't think that will happen.

Flooding comes and goes. Dealing with water coming in from the chimney. Have had to dump my rain gauge twice so far so that is 25 inches and last I checked it was already at another 6 so 31 inches since Friday with more to come.

We have water coming in but are able to manage it with buckets so far. I am about 3.5 miles north of the Addicks Reservoir which is near its banks and already flooding hwy 6 and push this way.

Yikes praying that's all you get. There's been patches of no rain I think those help a lot. I've run out with Tyson during those spare times so he can poop, lol. It's coming down now again!

Couldn't go as the vet is closed. Last I heard is the building was dry but you can't get to it. Sadly this wasn't just a checkup as it was her big one for her 3 year shot up dates that we will now be out of cycle on and have to do the 1 year this time around. Other than that we are still pretty dry but that can change any moment. We are also locked in as our last path of escape was flooded over night so we are rid8ng the lightening now.
