Update on Bruschi: very wants to monitor him first. He says since Bruschi doesn't aspirate all the time, the surgery may not be necessary. Will know more in the coming weeks and months.

yes please be careful not to let him get too excited. I worry about a vet that doesn't take the elongated palate seriously. they can't even tell without a little sedation to get s better view in the back of the throat. your descriptions of the episodes should have warranted a closer look. down the throat I mean. my first vet said yeah they just breathe loud. second vet said sound like elongated palate very likely, let me refer you to specialist. two weeks later, surgery.good uodate!!! I would just be extremely careful with the tongue getting blue. A second opinion is always worth it as well!
