Other Billy Update

Stiggy's mange was due to his food allergies. Since his immune system was compromised, the mites took over and therefore hives, hotspots, the itchies! Hopefully the food change is all cute Billy needs. 6-months was the age Stig's cherry eye started too. Hang in there, he'll be good as new in no time!

Awww poor Billy!! I second the NuVet it has a lot of great herbs in it. Also, you might want to boost up the probiotics with some supplements since he's on antibiotics, the yogurt is a good start for sure. In addition, try getting him some digestive enzymes to help process and absorb all the nice veggies you'll be feeding him!

He's good, the swelling has gone down enough for us to use the wash fir the mites...Vet said to wait a couple of days cause we need to get the wash everywhere and the swelling will increase the risk of getting it in his eye. Gonna put it on in the morning and he has to wear his cone so he doesn't lick it might as well get used to it though cos he'll have to wear it after his op on Monday x

does Spinach have Vit C in...I'm looking for a good source of Vit C that won't make him stink...so far I have come up with broccoli and sprouts might just get Vit C supplements.

Well, our sweet baby boy had his first lot of wash on tonight....had to wear his cone so he didn't lick at it. He wasnt very impressed, and since he fell asleep sat up just after this video was taken we took the cone off and he's now curled in bed fast asleep. Boy does this wash stink though...it's solvent based and the vet did warn us it would make him sleepy.
