It really does! She grew up with a cat, they both were babies together and now are both 6. I got a lot of criticism for it but that cat is loyal to her. They even both go play outside together and I get the feeling the cats watching out for her. It’s a special relationship. Animals can be really good for a child, I think.

I’m hoping for the same thing with our new EB puppy! So far it’s going really well
