Hi,
I have a almost 6 month old English bulldog, we already know she is currently suffering from idiopathic head tremors and now she has a bald patch on her leg 😢 it started small but has got larger and now I can see other small ones coming up and down her leg. Does anybody know what I can do to help the hair grow back or what could be the cause? I will attach a photo.
Thankyou

The head tremors are scary looking but they are nothing serious. Buster gets them from time to time and I give him a spoonful of something, plain yoghurt, natural peanut butter, or a very tasty treat. He concentrates on whatever I am giving him, it breaks the cycle and the tremors stop. As for the hair loss, it could be several things and as I am not experienced with them I will leave it to others to guide you! Good luck.

At his age, my guess is mange…. Have the vet do a skin scrape to confirm. His immune system needs to be strengthened so, add a probiotic to his meals.
aslo, what are you currently feeding?

If it IS mange, the GO-TO treatment is NEXGARD. If it's a simple Staph infection we always treat with Cephalexin...course should run 6 weeks minimum. Many Vets will write for 4 weeks but that is not enough!
