Unbelievable!! My daughter may have a broken foot, near the growth plate. She was playing tag at her dad's house and fell on the tile floor. They are unable to see a fracture but there is pain at the growth plate, so they are casting it!! She return's home in 2 days on crutches,

I do that as often as I can .... often when there is nobody else in the room ... cos it makes me feel very smug.. and (dare I say it) righteous!!!

Poor girl! When I was a kid I broke my arm at the growth plate (rolling down a ramp of pillows I had made off the bed, of course). Luckily, doctors are awesome and kids are fast healers. Hope she's okay and healed up soon!
