Got Ace earlier this afternoon. Took him straight to the vet. Everything checked out perfect! He's exactly 10 wks, weighed in at 10.2 lbs. He looks extremely healthy, is this weight a normal weight range for 10 wk old male? His coat did seem a lil dry, which is prob from the food Purina Pro Plan he was being given. I will be getting Fromms puppy gold from petflow on Friday, so I will very slowly transition him. He does have a tear stain, which I think is from the food. Gave hime a bath today with earth bath puppy and white vinegar/water rinse. Perfect smell....below are a few pics :)

Ace is an angel. Look at that sweet face! I'm so happy and excited for you. I think that weight is fine for a 10wk old pup. He's a doll!

Oh Ace is adorable… :luv: His weight sounds great, and he looks perfect!!! Congratulations and we would LOVE to see more pics!!!

Ok, I gotta ask cause I'm being very cautious with this little guy. So he was sleeping on his bed for about 2hrs. He woke up, went outside and did his business. I was placing his bed inside his crate when I noticed a gob of what I thought was drool?! It had a funny smell to it. Looked clear and thick when I wiped it off with a paper towel. I'm assuming this is normal?

HAHAHA...you ain't seen drool like you're gonna see drool...just wait!

Not to worry, you will adjust, we all do as having them outweighs any bad.
I am a very girly girl and was quite the perfectionist in clothes & home, never
knew I'd give it all up for bullies but I did...happily. Having bullies changed my
ways and my life <3

Vinegar/water final rinse is perfect and will keep him & your house from doggy
smelling. Walmart sells Nature's Way, EfaGold, Organic Coconut Oil (it is a solid
until warmed up) in the supplement area. Feed him about a 1/4 tsp daily, just
plop it as a topper or give alone as a treat, he'll gobble it down. It'll give him a
glorious coat, use on his snout for cracky, dry nose, dry paw pads, any irritated
or scabby sore, pimple, injury, etc on his skin and provides GOOD FAT source to
provide energy & health. Protects against internal pests too as it is antibacterial,
antimicrobial, antifungal~great for humans too, read up on it. About $12 for 16 oz

Lol..I did order the grizzly salmon oil from petflow, assuming that is similar besides the saturated fat contents (coconut oil is highest).

Good choice too, either is good to give them. They can have an allergy to
salmon (but not to worry, you'll know) so I rec'd coconut oil more often.
It is wonderful for the coat/skin too. After the food change, that will help
his skin as well and of course, over all health.

It IS NOT like the bad fats and works differently than them, it's all good with it.
Sounds like you've got a good handle on it...he's in a great home!
