Yellowish gunk in my dogs eye. He periodically has to get his lashes plucked due to irritation. Is this a symptom??

Hi, clear eye discharge is usually a sign of allergies, or irritation of the eye. Yellow or Greenish discharge ican be a sign of anything from allergies to an infection, or an inflammation of the eye things like tear duct problems or dry eye, or pink eye can cause irritations to the eye. A vet is the best source to determine what type of infection it is, and prescribe medication if needed, depending on the cause. Saline washes can help with allergy issues.

Yellow usually is a sign something is going on there, I would have it checked by your vet

Could be irritated from the lashes, may have to have surgery to fix it one day.
