So, Wednesday of last week Lola woke up gagging, so we took her outside where she promptly threw up a large piece of her black rubber Kong toy. This toy had "virtually indestructible" on the label. Don't believe it! The piece was approximately the size of a quarter around. We took the toy away and it went in the trash. Saturday morning she threw up 7 times. In it there was a piece of black rubber the size of a silver dollar. We called the vet and got her in. They did xrays and saw nothing, but wanted to make sure there was no obstruction further down, so they did a barium study. No obstruction, phew! I'm glad she's okay, but I'm $400 poorer. I was so worried about her! I can't believe she didn't choke.

Oh dear! Poor yous...glad the test results showed no more obstructions. Hugs...sorry about $$...but we've all been there. Happy Healthy Bully is priceless.

So happt she got it all out, they will eat anything.

Holy cow that is scary! Thank goodness she is OK....

I always say better safe than sorry ... $400 is nothing compared to worrying about the what if scenario.

But so glad she's safe! Stig can chew pieces of the kong rubber bone toy too, especially since he loves those types of chewies. So we're always in the the room whenever he plays with it.
