Watson is a handsome boy, and obviously loves his treat!

I thought we were doing well slimming down on fromm beef but he weighed in at 64lbs today at the vets office today. Vet wants him down to 55lbs:)

We went to the feed store today to get a deer antler to replace the one he demolished but they were on backorder so he got this femur bone instead.

What a happy, happy boy he is --- love the tongue!!

Ouch to Watson maybe just a tad more walking will help, it helps my guys, some are slower than others but we all go fur fun
, 9 pounds. I'd like to lose 9 lbs.

I would like to take him on more walks but it has been cold and he doesn't like the cold. He will just stand put and refuse to walk anymore

we had to have Banks slim down 10lbs when she was 2... we did 1/2 cup kibble 1/2 cup green beans for each meal and she lost the weight in no time.

Love the pics!!! That is a very long tongue!!!!

I tried to give him vegetables but he doesn't like it. I have read so many here giving their bully veggies. Watson will just sniff it then walk away. I am gonna go down to 3/4 cup twice a day and see how it goes.

Watson is so handsome and looks like he loves his bone.

Watson is a handsome boy. Looks like he's living the good life. A nice bed to enjoy his treat on. Exercise makes a big difference. When the weather is nice they get walked more and lose weight. I started feeding my dogs green beans with their food and they are use to eating it now. In the beginning they use to spit them out, so I smashed them with a potato masher into smaller bits so it was harder for them to separate the veggies from the dog food.
