Vicaroo once again an inspiration for a thread

well, honestly, I thought that point was made when I asked about the lawn, LOL.
I guess there is no hope for me being a "gardner"...Perhaps I'll just take pictures of the front lawn and y'all tell me what to plant and where. Then I can go to Home Depot (my not so favorite place) and tell them what I need.
Does it count that I've kept a "mother in law's tongue" plant alive for 2 years?

That counts. I don't even know what that is! Lol.

Annuals are for those types who want to have a reason to tinker in their yard. For us non-green thumbs, we stick with the ones that can survive neglect. Lol.

What I do for the potted plants: use aquarium water to water the plants and dump the rabbit's poop on it. I don't even bother composting the poop.

Okay, you're killing me here. MERCHANT OF VENICE. There.

anatess Dang it! You're right. Good job! Not my favorite Shakespeare work but in the top 10.

Shakespeare? Was he a gardener too?

Because I know you're dying to see one of my shakycam garden videos for 2013, here's the MAY DAY EDITION of The Mukilteo Garden. Be warned; it's a quickie (it's early in the season) although I do PBS GARDEN DWEEB out during a couple of moments.... I can't help myself.

Vicaroo1000 you crack me up! I loved the ad lib in the video and am still amazed that you know what each and every plant is by name. You are certainly a pro at this. Nice Caddy, by the way. That annoying gardening guy on NPR got nuttin on you girl.

omg are we still encouraging Vicaroo1000 to talk? she needs no encouragement for that  i am going to get my yard together somewhat this year i hope. maybe ill post a pic or two. :2thumbs:

Can I quote you later on that? You know I am not going to forget...!

Well I must say, Vicaroo1000 has set the bar high not only in gardening but in video of the garden, too. Sorry, but pictures just won't do. Must be a video with funny ad lib.
