urine stench in dirt

My daughter just bought a lovely new home, but the former owners had a 'dog run' where their dogs pottied. They had artificial grass (which we pulled out) and the dirt under is horrid!!! Does anyone have a remedy for this? Im figuring an enzymatic solution but ?????????????? any suggestions?

Ha! i dont remember lol go figure... I 'sorta' think they did a "natures miricle" tipe thing but honestly dont remember. (i wasnt there when they 'did it' ) just gave suggestions..
