Tubs the Crew Mascot

So my daughter was a freshman last year and this past winter/spring she started rowing crew! We spent many weekends on the Schuylkill River in PA. Tubs has been adopted as the crew team mascot because he comes to all of the races and shows up as some of the practices. Yes, he is sporting an eye patch in one of the pictures because the mascot for the school is a Pirate. We also found out that there is A LOT of walking during these races, so we bought him a red, collapsible wagon for this coming season! (BTW: my reserved daughter is the one with the flashy socks! Yes, she wore flashy, knee high socks for EVERY race!)

The daughter of a college roommate of mine rows -- she wears similar socks! Must be a rowing thing. They live in Maryland, but I got to see her row on the Cooper River here in Pennsauken this past Spring. I hope they come back up here...maybe Dudley would like to go next time!

Oh No No No!!!! heehee....my daughter is also involved in Key Club and The Class of 2016 and we were thinking about dressing him up as a pirate and doing a kissing or photo booth for a fund raiser!!!! :-)
