I have both.. The large one is enormous but at least she can't get her teeth into it llike she has the medium.

Her best toy is a nylabone not sure which one but it's got orange bits in the middle...chew proof

We have the 12 inch one ... and yes, it's far too big for Maggie to get her teeth into. She will try to bite it and the egg will just go bouncing off in any direction!! Play time can get a bit destructive though because these things are made out of VERY hard plastic .. so playtime is kept to outdoors only!!
