Glad it’s exposed cause I do use Chosen Avocado oil and their mayo. In the garbage they went. It pisses me off cause I do my best to eat clean and then chit like this happens. Now I’m making my own mayo since I have chickens.

my point is, you can’t really trust any study when you find out where the money came from for the study. All about the dollar not the facts or truth

A Doctor in U.S., Ken Berry and his wife RN. Both very low carb helping people to eat clean. This isn’t about $$$ for them. They’re both down to earth people, trying to get Americans back on track with their food, stop process food, etc…. He and others in the same field are fed up of the big pharmaceuticals paying off the food industry of unhealthy products.

Watching the news today, flashed up that a premium dog food has been linked to sight loss in dogs, not just a few dogs apparently hundreds. they had a specialist vet on interview. the ingredient that is the problem is buckwheat, or part of it. Now most of you know I haven't got a clue about this stuff, I'm Raw, and have been for over 60yrs, that's why I never answer posts on this rubbish. It just highlights what we have been saying on this thread, and what a few of us know to be true. Raw every time folks.

Yes read it has a link to loss of eyesight in dogs but nothing proven yet. Like you, definitely raw is the way to go.

Yeah! I don't understand why people are so fearful, about feeding Raw. I know certain Vets don't push it, but that's because there is a sack load of Kibble in the corner of reception, waiting to be sold. SAD

Liability… if they suggest raw, your dog gets sick, they can be held liable, unlike big corporations that are rarely held accountable

Yeah! I understand the liability, so the sack load of that stuff in the corner of the waiting room, that they promote and sell, and three months later poor pup is back, with a load of allergies and they empty your wallet again. what I don't understand, why owners/carers are so fearful of feeding raw, and it shows on this forum, on some threads, even if you give them all the info on how and what to feed including the correct temp when defrosted, and suppliers. maybe I'm missing something, maybe some of the members that are fearful of raw could tell me?? I may understand more then.

Like Christine said, liability. Even though my vet, owner of the clinic, has bags of Royal Canin and Science Hill in another section, he’s all for raw. He doesn’t even push the kibbles.

Yeah! This is the part of my last post that I'm more interested in, the Fear. We all know about the Vets, and liability. There are plenty of people out there that would like to feed raw, but never feed it because of fear, they are so afraid of their dog becoming sick, or worse, and yes it can happen. I've spoken to many dog owners over decades on this, and there is one thing that comes up all the time. (I tried it and he/she was really sick with raw) every time I ask the same question, what was the temp in the larder fridge? answer(It was normal) what's normal, (don't know) and that in my opinion is the biggest problem with raw. People don't adjust their larder fridge, to 0-4 degrees the dial usually sits in the middle= temp to high, Raw goes off very quickly, pup becomes seriously sick. And in my opinion the whole scenario of raw is owners/carers simple mistake, will they ever admit it, no chance. Do your homework on suppliers, talk to people who feed raw.
