This or That: Percher or Nester?

I have lived both ways, as a nester longer than as a percher, but I've got to admit the view is much better as a percher, and I really like perching except when we have 80 MPH wind!

This is last winter when a storm just cleared.

I'm half way up the hill but must say although totally exposed and open to the climate the view is much nicer at the top. So I will choose percher

Oh!!! Thank you for explaining that one. I am a nester then but would prefer to perch on top of a hill if I had the choice. (Up in the sierras preferably. haha

Canada's absolutely flat except for the Rockies, so I'm forced to be a nester. lol.

Ive always lived where it's flat. But I wouldn't mind a mountain view. Just wouldn't want to drive up and down mountain roads in the winter.

[MENTION=983]LariP[/MENTION] we have had only one time in 6 years that we haven't been able to get up our driveway. We were in our cube van with studs all around but our driveway is 1/3 mile up and it was a sheet of ice.
