The vet's office, how does your Bully do?

I'm worried that Mabel's previous history of dog aggression could cause problems for her at the vet. I've yet to find a harness that fits her and she can slip out of her collar. Her foster mom said she didn't mind going, but that this little girl tried to take down a standard poodle. Now that could just be her opinion of poodles . . . ;)

Well I think she has terrific taste in dogs and I agree with her about poodles..:barf:

Luca enjoys meeting every human and dog in the vets waiting room and peeing on the floor from the excitement.

Poor little Emma, Buddy is the same way, he hides under the chair too. But the girls want to see everyone.

bulldogs4me, I'm taking it he didnt' have any problem before that? Emma will not go with anyone there either. She'll only go with me. I had to pick her up on her last visit and hand her to the vet tech, lol. Sounds like Diesel and her are the same. :D
ChrisRN, a poodle huh? Dang, they're not small.
hnhammond, that's just like Henny's (@cali baker) Tate (I call him Mr. Wigglebums). He's just so excited to see people.

I'm so glad Emma outgrew that. When she was young she'd have excitement pee just like Luca when she'd see someone.

HRH 'nervous poops' on the waiting room floor.... she's so sweet! ROFL

You havent lived til your baby nervous poops in the main isle of Petsmart!!!! ROFL
 I can relate. Remember the day we rescued Jack and brought him home? We stopped by Petsmart on the way home and put him in the shopping cart and he took a :poo: in it. Too funny. :ashamed: Does HRH still do this?

Her 'accidents' are a rarity these days.

Bnaks and Cheli are like Wilson and Jack.... social butterflies and the LOVE all the staff at our vet office. Nitshcke was the KING when he was there...

JeannieCO - nope he wasn't like that before, he loved everyone and would let people hug on him etc but since he had his surgery and his nails cut at the groomers a few times, he now thinks everyone is out to get him so to speak and is very stand offish with people :nope:

I take Miss Tallulah to the vet's frequently so the staff can give her snuggles and treats -so she thinks the vet's is awesome. Even though she has been spayed, had lazer surgery on her palate, had puppy demodex and had her skin scraped for testing, and had her tail amputated ( unbelievably painful but so worth it now) she still is totally chill and a social butterfly when we are there. . Of course the vet kisses and snuggles her too. He also let me stay with her for all of her surgeries so she feels secure there because I never leave her until she is asleep. The groomers on the other hand who cut her nails make her shake like a leaf and the visit always gives her diarrhea after she gets home. Yet she has never had a bad experience there and the staff just adore her. Go figure.

Meeko went the other day for the first time in a while and i posted on here how uncontrollable excited and demented he went! His butt wouldnt stop wigglin and he was an absolute nutter! Excited pee pee everywhere in pretty patterns.. Slobber all over the vets face and could barely breathe from acting like a loonatic! Im sort of hoping when he gets neutered Wednesday he starts to be a bit more cautious of the vets so he calms down a bit  ... My plan for Wed is take him for a long walk before hand and make him do simple commands before entering the vets so hes in the 'listen to mummy' mode! X
