Switching dog food need a lil help

So we've decided to.switch from beneful to Blue Buffalo. But I'm a lil confused lol of do I get my dog puppy or adult, considering we dont know how old he is. We think hes about 1 to 1 1/2 yrs old...

Adult food for sure! Don't forget to switch really slowly because it is going to be a huge change! Kinda like going from ice cream diet to steak and potatoes!

Just so you know my vet had us put Jake on an all stage food at 10 weeks!

Oh yeah - you're definitely ready for the adult stuff but make sure the transition is slow to avoid digestive upset and look for signs of allergies, in case the food doesn't agree with your baby.

Great point. The fewer things in your pup's new diet, the easier it will be to figure out if something's not agreeing with him or is causing a reaction.
