Stella has a new brother...

Meet Bruno! He started out as my foster dog, but we decided he needed to be with us permanently! We all love him. He's had a bit of a rough start. He was diagnosed with hypoplastic trachea, which basically means he is breathing through an opening the size of a straw. He had pneumonia when I first got him, and had a scary episode where he collapsed and stopped breathing from a mucous plug. He's been on several rounds of antibiotics, and nebulizer breathing treatments. He's pretty stable now. The vet said once he reaches 10mos of age his trachea should grow to a more normal size.
