Sophie was welcomed into the rescue as an owner surrender. She had a tail fold surgery done four years ago, which was done incorrectly, and the infection has gotten worse ever since. She was consequently being kept outside because the family had come on hard times and could not afford a second corrective surgery. She is now completely healed.
