Best wishes !!! I guess no snacks after midnight tonight ?? She'll sail through it. They put an e-collar on both my dogs after spaying and the first one who was spayed went crazy and knocked it off, and I kept it off since she didn't lick stitches.Second dog I never even put an e-collar on and she didn't lick stitches either. Postop both threw up first night when they ate, so I'd just give her something small or just fluids postop. One of the dogs had dissolving stitches and the other one had stitches that had to be removed after 10-14 days. They forgot to remind me to come back to get the stitches removed, so make sure you ask if you need to come back for that.

I am sure she’ll be fine.... :-/ it’s just nerve wracking for us more so I guess...
I wish they’d do dissolving stitches but the said they would have to see her back to have them removed.
Was thinking of getting her the blow up collar to keep her from licking.
Hoping she won’t be a kicker but.....
I think it would be easier for her to get around and be in her crate.

The vet just called and he said Bella did great is waking up now and we can go get her in a couple of hours!
