We took Sancho to our family's cabin over the weekend and he had a blast, especially when his Dad caught a fish... he was so anxious to help!

Looks like a Silver Bullet to me.

What a wonder pic. I have to say I'm jealous that you have a cabin in the woods to go to. That's my all time dream. Sighhh, another life, lol.

LOL, hate to burst the bubbles, but it's not a Silver Bullet. Close, though...it's actually an IPA from one of the local breweries here, Marble Brewery.

I must admit, having a cabin in the woods is pretty wonderful. :) My grandfather grew up there and being the youngest son (of 18!!) he didn't inherit anything from his parents. So, he saved up money and bought this piece of property (~30 acres) and divvied it up for each of his 7 children. He wanted to make sure they would all have something when he died. My aunts and uncles have so far decided against dividing the property, though, and chose instead to pool their money. They built a cabin large enough for all of us to go together whenever possible, which is what my grandpa really wanted and cherished :)

This trip, me, hubby and Sancho went with my sister and her boyfriend. We all had a great time, but it was especially fun to watch Sancho experience it all for the first time. He LOVED the lake and I think he would've jumped in after the ducks if the water hadn't been so cold. He did fall in one time when the tall grass turned into reeds in the water... poor guy. It was shallow, but he freaked out and ran all the way back to the car. We were able to coax him back with a treat and a stick, though :)

Oh! And yes, he LOVES the metal Coolaroo bed!!!! He used to hoard all his toys in his crate, but now they all go on the bed :) So cute to watch him going around picking up all his toys and putting them where they belong. (Now if only I could teach him to do that with my stuff :2thumbs:)

I am so jealous! He looks like he is happy and comfortable there.
