salmon oil

Instead of buying salmon oil for my bullie can I used canned salmon in his diet a couple of times a week?

I'm sure you could, I would just make sure there's no bones in it. I know every once in a while you find a bone or two in canned tuna. to EBN!

I had some mackerel filets from a can they were covered in sunflower oil I emptied the oil over his dog biscuits he went crazy for them. Leon loves anything fish.

Ok, sorry if i disagree :/. canned fish is full of sodium and preservatives. you are better off giving your pup coconut oil, krill oil or fresh fish.

We fed ours salmon oil for awhile, and they didn't really like it, so we don't feed it anymore. I didn't see a difference in them either way. It didn't help with the shedding either.

I dont see why not, canned salmon is wild caught too so its very good for them.
