This is good information to know. I don't know if it's used here in Canada? A lot of pesticides have been banned here, and when a lawn or area has been treated with a pesticide or weed killer a sign with the type of chemical used and the date it was used is listed on a sign and put on the lawn. We should be careful anytime our children and pets are on a unknown lawn, because you. Ever know what is on the grass, it could be chemicals, or bacteria from other people's pets or wildlife.

Oh my what are we eating? Does blanching and washing remove these pesticides? I sure wish they followed the article up with what we can do to to protect ourselves. All the article tells me is I should not eat my fruits and veggies!

Thanks for the heads up, we fortunately have a farm stand/coop where we get our veggies and they are all locally sourced and organic
