I've read the bully pups can take a year or more to mature. What age have you seen your puppies heads for lack of a better term explode?

Our dog is developing nice in the chest etc but I feel like his head is a little on the small side. He is 6.5 months. Nothing I'm worried about just wanting to get other people's experiences

Well the breeder who sold me my male told me they are most of the way mature at 18 months.

Chance is 15 months and sometimes I think his head is too small for his butt. :p

My Usko is only 16 months and still a youngster. I've seen development from 2 years to 3. Usko's fathers breeder said that more maturing happend even from 3 to 4 years old. EB's mature slowly.

@atxbullugirl I totally agree with 18 months...A lot of people I talk to said that up until about 2 they saw growth as well! Brutus's head really needs to catch up lol There was a thread someone else posted and alot of members responded with pics at 1 year old and pics at 2 years old! It was nice to see different bullies at the same age!

I'm not sure when Jack's head got big. But here is a pic of him right at 7 months and he's pretty big headed.

Until recently, Lola's head also seemed too small for her body. She is almost 14 months now, and it's catching up!

They usually are done by age of two

Funny...I was thinking the same thing, Luna is 8 months old and her head seems a little small. I remember her dad had a head the size of a basketball, I'm sure she'll grow into it.

In my experience with Samson he didn't fully mature until he was 2. They get their height in the first year and bulk up/fill out in the second year (head, chest, etc).
