Yes, if I could stretch her legs and her body she would be "perfect" So worried about her right now. congestion meds not working and causing bad tummy problems...... She has had so many issues from day one.............

please keep us posted .. thinking of you.. hope she feels better soon! xoxoxox:heart:

It's "stump the vet" time again..... He is out looking for something else. he has run out of options We have tried everything, Homeopathic, reg meds. She already has had the surgery and it nearly killed her, so we are afraid to venture further down that road again. Dr. Koch is a great vet. He is actually recommended on this site.

Oh my, I am sorry. Have you maybe been to a specialist? :( poor thing.

Her vet Dr. Koch is a "specialist" when it comes to bullies and he is great. He works a lot with many medical schools and is well known in the area ( he is even recommended on this site) She is just an extremely tough case. He is doing some more research to see if he can come up with something else. He said she has the smallest trachea he has ever seen in a bully in his 30 years of practice. As I said, a tough case. She is doing good today. Still in bed LOL

Please keep us posted on Dubbie's progress... prayers and positives thoughts

so far her vet has not come up with anything new, but I think she is better off without all the meds and the terrible side effects with no help to her breathing.
She is so much happier with everything finally out of her system. We just have to keep a close eye on her. She is an extreme case because of her extra small trachea and thick soft palate. We are all afraid ( vet included) to have her undergo another soft palate surgery as we nearly lost her after the last one.
I truly believe "quality of life over quantity" and right now she is doing better without all the meds> If Dr. Koch comes up with something different, we will try it. We are taking a day off and going boating and she loves the boat and the water so happy day, happy dog :-)

"quality of life over quantity" - Awww... sounds to me like you are taking the right approach. Enjoy your happy girl! Guinness and I will be keeping you in our thoughts! :)

"Guinness and Dublin, a match made in Heaven :-) "

thanks for the support, I can only give her the best life possible and she has a good one :-)

She is lucky to have you take such great care of her. Will be hoping Dr. comes up with a new plan that may help.
