Hi! Hubby & I live in a 3rd floor condo so training has been a bit difficult. However, I believe I finally understand when Chubb needs to go. On the other hand, my hubby doesn't quite seem to get it. He doesn't think Chubbs needs to go out every hour. So my question is, is it normal for a bully to have the need to go every hour (mind you he's only 12 weeks)? Thanks!

Yes. And I complained having to get up and walk 20 feet. Pee pads and hang on. It does get better.

Yes, a good guideline is 15 mins after eating/drinking and immediately after play stops. Also at 3 months they can only hold the bladder for right about 4 hrs

Yes, pups need to go often! We live in a flat too and I think it may be easier to house train dogs who cannot go in and out on their own as you need to establish a schedule for them for practical reasons. We got Castor in June last year when he was nine weeks, and he was house trained by the end of that summer. That first summer we spent a lot of time in the lift or running up and down the stairs!
