Her face is swollen...

This last one is her yesterday..

Gave her some benedryl. She is acting fine just looks a little funny!! Will be keeping an eye on her a giving her more benedryl in a few hours.

If for any reason you feel she is having trouble breathing, please get her to the vet ASAP... poor girl!

Oh I will!
My son actually works as a vet tech. She is acting totally normal except for the fat face. Poor baby....poor little mush face...
Also hoping we NEVER have a need for it but a new overnight emergency vet office opened less than a quarter mile from us!

Aww poor baby girl. Maybe she got stung by a wasp, or bit by a spider. You may never know what caused the swelling, it may even be something she ate that she's allergic to. A couple of years ago Dozer woke up in the morning with hives all over his body, we gave him Benadryl and kept our eye on him. They disappeared in a couple of days, but we never figured out what caused the reaction. I hope she feels better soon.

My Martha is allergic to wasp stings-and of course, she chases them! I keep benedryl and prednisone around-just in case!

poor baby girl... Hank stepped on a bee and got stung. I freeked out, unnecessarily probably, and it cost a pretty penny to have the emergency vet check, give a shot, and watch for a bit. I think I will be calmer if it happens again. , but it was toward eve and I just spazed.

Hope Hank is ok ! If he didn't have shortness of breath or a lot of swelling you can just treat him yourself with the benadryl orally next time ! With these bullies it's one more thing to keep in the emergency kit.

I just gave her two more benedryl, hoping she wakes up looking better than she does right now. I don't have a clue what the cause is but poor little thing looks pityful. She is still acting normal though.
Not sure the swelling has gone down but....

She is still a little swollen. It is definitely less than yesterday. She slept great last night. Possibly from the benedryl. Lol
