Piedmont Park in Atlanta opens the pool to dogs the last weekend it is open for the year. This year, Atlas decided to make a presence.

What a GREAT idea for a fundraiser....! All pools should do this and give the money to rescue.

Atlas had an absolute blast yesterday even if he was not sure what to make of the water. I couldn't get a capture of his first dive into the pool, but it was too funny. He plunged 2-3ft down and came up with the most startled look before swimming straight for the tennis ball. The majority of the dogs swimming were retrievers and the more aquatically inclined breeds, but Atlas definitely got the biggest response with his determination and fearlessness.
