Our EB gets VERY hyper when we first put him in bed to go to sleep (he sleeps with us at night). If it's just me he's fine but if my husband is home from work & he puts him in the bed he thinks it's play time & goes nuts! We have a big yard though so he gets lots of exercise running around all day.
