Please help me! (Dog burping and vomiting)

I see you’re quoting the book
I haven’t read the book but I know as a fact that’s how farmers fed their dogs. Table scraps n if they didn’t have any dogs would go without. My grandparents from Italy, back when, that’s how they fed their dogs. These dogs died old, like seriously most were in their early 20’s. Just there it proves to all pet owners today’s pet industry is all about $. A dog doesn’t need to eat 2,3 meals a day. Once a day is fine. Fasting cleans a gut. In the wild they don’t eat all day long. Most will eat the scraps from a kill if any.

The first chapter also talks about eating the gut’s veg-mash and feces šŸ˜…
The stomach mash sounds like it would be kinda similar to fermented

Our dog had similar symptoms and soft palate surgery has stopped vomiting and burping.

It got back to the point of becoming more frequent and choking on his vomit or phlegm to the point of losing breathing or passing out unless we stuck our hand in to remove the gunk. Then he would be so weak after we would have to take to urgent care or doc appts and they would always do X-rays and say bronchitis or pneumonia.

Just having to clean up the mess / vomit constantly or see him going through that was heartbreaking.

Like your boy, ours seemed normal… eating, energy, fit, happy, but now I regret not getting the surgery sooner because his quality life has improved so much!

Overall seems so much more happier, quiet, more energy, and can actually enjoy sleeping comfortably much more now like we have never seen him….

So thankful for this forum or else I never would’ve thought soft palate.

They did widen his nose, remove tonsils and that helped open up more airspace.

Pricing quote was $1500-2000
And it ended up being closer to 2K for everything but so worth it.
