Someone here had this before.... can't remember who it was. Davidh desertskybulldogs any ideas?

Dooley constantly had hiccups when he was a pup. It's nothing to worry about. I to was told its a growth thing. Don't remember off hand what my vet told me exactly other than it's nothing to worry about. Banksie will be fine.

Cheers all thanks very much

Hi Ben, don't worry it's very normal for both puppies and babies, they can be caused by rapid growth, eating and drinking too fast, and taking in air, or gulping, and also from being excited when playing, or seeing new people. They do outgrow it.

Thank you vikin

yup normal. mine used to have hiccups everyday and like you i was worried. thanks to this site i found out it's pretty normal and sure enough he outgrew it :D.

June always had the hiccups when she was little, especially after eating and drinking. Kids will get hiccups too and it just means they're growing.

Thxs all
