What is everyone's plans for Mother's Day? Celebrating at home or out and about?

We go to a neighbors for a Mom's brunch. All kids..grandkids and pretty much anyone who breathes! it's very casual and fun...and guess who's coming this year?? My new grandson Jack! his first official outing...crappy part is..it's going to be 94 frickin degrees!

I am being taken to a fancy brunch ... while that's still an option since it won't be for the next, oh, decade or two!

I'm happy to be celebrating this Mother's Day in a new way!

I also sent my mom some flowers and a Southwest Airlines gift card to come visit me.

I really have no plans yet. My kids are 6 & 8 hours away so our Mother's Day is via phone/mail!

I will spend mine home relaxing and one of my fave meals (chicken mole' with spanish rice, mashed potatoes and bread) will be made for dinner.
It's during this time that we share stories of the kids when they were young and pregnancy stories. It's always fun sharing memories.

I am going to my daughters for Brunch, and all the family will be there and boyfriends too. Funny we ceebtaye Mothers day same as the USA but our Fathers day is different ours is in September

I say at home because aren't going "out" exactly. My dad is having a pool party which is almost annual but we r still "at home" there I think.

I've been told we are cooking out however... I was nominated to do all the cooking. Maybe I'll get out of it if my sister in law goes into labor! Aha

Both my boys live in a different state, so I will be talking to them on the phone. As far as me? We bought two nice ribeye's and going to grill out, spending the day in our pool. Happy Mother's Day!!

my daughters and son have for many years had me over to their homes for dinner , all getting there early we spend the day talking, laughing, relaxing, it's the best ever !
