Lala broke MINI's tail...

My son came home from school yesterday evening and when he walks in from the garage MINI and Lala both RUN full speed to meet him. This time MINI got the jump on Lala and ran down the hall. It was dimly lit in the hallway and my son had made his way a little closer to MINI than she expected. She slammed on the brakes and slid on all fours, perhaps 5-6 feet. Lala did not anticipate the sudden stop and ran a full-bore face-plant into MINI's butt. MINI let out a blood-curdling YELP!...and spun around to chomp Lala. She missed with the chomp because Lala had knocked her out of range...lucky her. Lala just shook it off.

Poor MINI's tail does not sit up like her "little flag" used to. It just hangs down and hardly wags anymore. She doesn't seem too bothered by it though and WILL let us fool with it. I don't figure there's much that can be done. Poor MINI. I'm also not sure that she can lift her tail to keep from pooping it...oh boy.

Oh no!!! Poor Mini.... They do seem to lose control when the kids get home though ;-)

Sorry to hear ! Poor MINI. She finally outruns the speedy Lala and then gets injured in the process. I just did a quick look and according to Dr. Becker it usually heals on its own.

That's what we're hoping. She doesn't seem to be bothered by it...so that's a good thing. Still though, I miss seeing it wag when I talk to her.
