Just dropped duchess off for cryosurgery

Well , just dropped her off should be a pretty easy procedure. Duchess almost pulled the attendant down trying to follow me out of the office. Poor girl. Ill post an update after surgery

Good luck Duchess! I'm sure she'll do great, it's the bully parents we have to worry about. Thoughts, prayers, and crossed paws for a great surgery and a fast recovery.

What is cryosurgery??? freezing something is what it sounds like.

She had abnormal eyelashes a condition called distichiasis. Eyelashes grow the wrong direction and irritate the eye. They have to freeze them off. It's not very invasive but the do require anesthia.

I was just going to ask what it was too. to her. I'm assuming there's no real recovery period besides the anesthesia wearing off?

Just picked her up surgery went great she nearly tackled me when she saw went airborne and dove towards me. She has drops 3x per day and a re-check in 4 weeks. Her per eyes are swollen pretty good but in a couple days she should be all good! Duke and my Chihuaha were so excited to see her!
