Besides fish oil for the coat and skin, should I be giving Brodie some type of joint medicine? If so, what kind do you suggest? And other than these meds and his heartworm meds should I be giving him anything else?

Does Brodie have joint issues? I personally don't give them to my bullys. I am considering it for my Basset who is 8 years old and slowing down.
I give Mocha joint supplements. Glyco Flexx III. You can buy it from your vets or Amazon. Excellent product and I have notice the benefits on Mocha.

Do you think he needs it?
I used to give Bruno regular human glucosamine. When he was a puppy and at the vet for a visit the vet told me he thought Bruno's hips were just a little loose. He suggested I give him some to help him out as he grew. He said it wouldn't hurt to give him one every other day. I did up until he was a year old and stopped. His hips are fine today by the way.
