So my little girl Sawyer is in heat for the first time. Let me say first I have never done so much laundry!!!! lol How long does this last? She is only my second dog and first female so I am completely clueless here.

Females being in heat is usually 3 to 4 weeks. Most common is 3 full weeks, but I would wait an extra week before you let her around male dogs. You can get doggie diapers for such "occasions" on most dog supply websites.
