I feel like the worst bulldog mommy ever!

Ugh... Doorbells cause havoc in our house too, and it is a Bulldog and Frenchie too!

You are a good Mom. You did not cause the problem-you took her to the vet to fix things! If you were a BAD mom, you would not have worried about it!
I live out in the country so I don't get trick or treaters. When we lived in an area, and kids trick or treated-I stuffed cotton in the door bell, so the dogs wouldn't go nuts.
I could hear a little buzz-but the dogs didn't realize what it was! heh, heh.

You are a Great Mom, things do happen that we cannot control, we do our Best for our 4 legged Love Ones.

I am so sorry to hear this happened. And again as everyone else has said you are not a bad Mommy. Hang in there and I am sure your baby will be back to normal in no time.

I'm so sorry, in similar situations (and a woman thang) we do seem to blame
ourselves when it IS NOT our (your) fault, we can't control the Universe!

Give thanks it wasn't worse and she will recover, be proud of your quick action
and getting her immediate care and move forward with your lives.

Life is to be lived, enjoyed and treasured for the short experience it is, eat it up!
