Hush Little Sally

I'm not sure really. She had her first 2 separate homes. She was on a site similar to Craig's list. The guy wanted to trade we for a set of drums. The rescue that I adopted her from had a friend who saw Snuffles (her name then was Zombie) so the rescue made arrangements to get her. You could tell by the photos that she was sick. Her eyes were all red and swollen. Mary picked her up and kept her for a few days. She then made the drive half way (it was a 6 hour drive) to Lori who brought her to the vet. It was Mary who names her Miss Snuffles and I didn't have the heart to change it. Snuffles spent 10 weeks at the vet. When she left she went to live with Lisa who runs the rescue but Lisa became very ill so she went into foster care with Lori again. They had adopted Snuffles out a few times but it just never worked out. Her vet bills were just over $10,000...poor thing.
I apologize for the length of the reply...this is Snuffles story. So happy that I have her💗

Wow...this hit me right in the heart like an arrow. Thinking about her WITHOUT
being adopted by you and now, living out her days with so much adoration & care
for her needs...Wonderfully made video, perfect music score and Sally is just too
adorable...a happy, content & beloved bully...doesn't get any better than this.

*Happy Sigh*

Sally is such a cutie!... What is it with Bullies and throw rugs like that? I have the same one and Harlea loves to snooze on it as well... :)

Oh my goodness Jeannie, my daughter & I just watched the video!!! We just LOVE little Sally... what a sweet baby!!! :heartsign:

Such a sweet video. It makes you feel so many emotions all at once. Sad,(for what she must have been through) happy,(that she is safe and content now), angry(for what so-called HUMANS have put her through) relieved (she can rest easy) and so grateful for people like her rescue family! I'll bet she has never felt this safe before. Thank you for giving her a wonderful home. Love how she is holding her bone.

Beautifully said. She's was abused and has some very deep scars. The only thing I can thing of is all her love came from years of giving to those babies of hers. And she loves other dogs and people. She's held a bone like that twice now but never has tried to doze off.

You have the same throw rug? They're softer than the floor that's why they like them silly.

Oh gosh no apology needed here. :) It's amazing her spirit is still good. That's so many homes and quite a medical history. 10 weeks at the vet, oh my gosh, poor baby. I love the name Snuffles, it's original.

We sure do. Harlea tried to eat it a few weeks ago. :) Harlea loves to lay on the wood floor or her coolaroo. If she is not in one of those places she is on the couch.
