heat cycle - is this normal

My English bulldog is on her first heat cycle but is that normal?

I've had a couple of bullies go through heat (long time ago). The swelling looks normal, but I don't remember any redness. Yes, you could put a cool cloth on it or desitin to help with the soreness.
