Anyone can suggest a good prevention for Logan? He's just about 12 weeks old. Or he doesn't need it yet? Thank you

Our vet prescribed Trifexis on our very first visit, which is a flea and heartworm pill combined. I think Logan should start now.

I have used Frontline, Sentinel and now am using Advantage Multi for Walter. The Advantage also helps prevents mange from returning, so it may be a good choice for your baby. I think it smells awful, but it only lasts a day or two… and I have a pretty sensitive nose!!! Lol

We just went to the vet. Didn't really say anything but the regular vet Brett has does the heartworm testing 5-6 mos old. So I'll be taking him for that.

My breeder said to use Advantage II - two weeks prior to the rabies vaccine and two weeks after to keep mange away.

Oh wow.. I will look into to this. He's been on it for the last 5 months, as a recommendation from his vet and one of the techs who has a bully. Reading your link now :(

I'm sorry I don't mean to scare you, but I would want someone to let me know what's going on. We have a member here who's friend lost her bully to Trifexis Libra926

We have used sentinel for years without any side effects or issues. in the spring/summer/fall i also use Vectra-3D for fleas/ticks

Haha, no it's definitely appreciated!! Thanks for the info! I've pretty much been harassing my husband this morning and made him read up on it too.
