Is he really 1 years old ... I remember joining this site and he hadn't had his surgery ... how time flies!!!!!

A very big thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes!

Truman is especially thankful for everyone on the board because he literally might not be here without the encouragement, support, and love of everyone on English Bulldog News who was there for me and for him when some very difficult decisions needed to be made. I remember when his hip popped out at 10 weeks old and I made that first desperate post asking for advice. I remember going to one vet, then another, who recommended I put him down to avoid further expense and possible pain for Truman. I remember everyone on the board worrying along with me when Truman was in surgery and celebrating when he was out. I was never alone during a very, very difficult time. It gave me courage.

We are an online community but Truman is living, breathing, running, playing, and trouble-making proof that although were are a virtual place, the impact of the advice and support we offer each other on the board is very, very real.

Thanks to everyone! You are appreciated more than you will ever know!

Yes I agree we should bring back or re-write the "Truman Story" for all who dont know the details of it. Truman is just so lucky to have such a great bully mama like you Jill. Too many people would have given up on him, he is living such a happy life because of you!
